Fluorescent pigments:-

Chempon fluorescent pigments are strongly eye catching and come in
1) Standard shades – Lemon yellow, yellowish Green, Pink, Orange, Magenta, Chrome yellow and
2) Special shades as required by the customers.

The uniqueness of Chempon fluorescent pigments is that they come in universally applicable format(APS range) and water compatible LX range .

' APS' range Chempon universal fluorescent pigments:

1. are thermo setting in nature
2. are resistant to and non- swelling in all common solvents
3. are very resistant to migration in plasticizers and solvents
4. are of very fine micron size (3-4- microns )
5. are water insoluble
6. have softening point 155o C – 160o C
7. are of maximum fluorescence strength.

Applications of Chempon universal fluorescents pigments:

1. Textile screen printing pastes.
2. PVC/NC screen printing inks
3. plastisol inks
4. PVC and Poly ethylene coloration
5. Candles, Crayons, Waxes Coloration
6. Water or solvent based paints.
7. Toners

long duration outdoor application is not recommended

'LX' range water compatible pigments:

1. Have softening point of 130 degree Celsius.
2. Have very fine particle size (1-3mic)
3. Have uncompromised fluorescence
4. Are eco-friendly.

Fluorescent TSS Range

Where colouration of plastics has be done in the best international quality at reasonable cost, PONPLAST TSS range pigments are the best. TSS range pigments are migration resistant, more lightfast than fluorescent dyes,eco-friendly and do not plate out during use.

Plate-out problem: This problem is a very big headache for plastics processors using other pigment powders,necessitating costly machine shutdowns and cross contamination of colours.In the case of Ponplast TSS pigments a mere flushing with uncoloured plastic granules will get the machine ready for next colour cycle.

Vinyl Plastics colouration: Colouring of vinyl plastics is a big problem due to migration of pigments in plasticizers and incompatibility of pigments with pvc compounds etc.Ponplast TSS range pigments are migration resistant and very compatible with all pvc compounds including plastisols and organosols.

TSS-A Fluorescent Pigments for Plastics

1. Chemical Base: special polyester
2. Particle size : 3 - 5 microns
3. Softening point: 120 deg C
4. Temperature stability: upto 260 degC (PVC,LDPE,HDPE)
5. Migration in solvents: not noticeable

TSS – B Fluorescent Pigments for high temperature

1. Chemical Base : Complex Resin
2. Particle Size : 3 – 5 microns
3. Softening point: 130 deg C
4. Temperature Stability: > 300 Deg C ( suitable for whole range of plastics PVC,polyethylenes,PP,ABS,PC etc)
5. Migration in solvent: not noticed
